What a year it has been! SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland is getting in the holiday spirit early this year.  We are ready for Christmas time with these new personalized ornaments.

Mold Caused by Neglected Water Damage

This Cleveland family discovered extensive microbial growth in their home, thanks to outside rain water that went undetected for an unknown period of time. Believe it or not, mold problems like this can be mitigated with the right expertise and equipment. SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland has trained technicians that were able to test and remove the mold growth, and then restore the space to pre loss conditions. 

Fire Damage in Washington County

SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland was called out to a fire damage in Washington County.  The fire started in the carport attic.  Luckily there was only minimal smoke damage throughout home.  SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland cleaned the home and got rid of smoke on the structure and contents part of house.

Sunflower County Firre Damage

A customer recently had left the stove on in their residence and experienced a fire.  Smoke damage occurred throughout the home.  SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland was called by the homeowner's insurance company to go out and provide our services to get this house back to its preexisting conditions.

Water Damage Caused from Excessive Rain

A local high school called SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland after suffering a water loss to their gymnasium area.  The roof leaked from excessive rain in the area causing multiple rooms to have water damage.  SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland set a generator, desiccant dehumidifier, and air movers to dry the affected areas.

AC Leak in Drew, MS

Congratulations to SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland, Michael Miller, and Steve Johnston for being in business for 17 years.  SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland was opened on August 20, 2001 by Michael Miller and Steve Johnston.  Congrats guys!

Mold Found

In this homeowner's residence, mold was found on an exterior wall of a bedroom.  Once mold was found, SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland arrived to remediate the mold.  A portion of the drywall wall was removed that had the mold damage on it. 

Updated Parking Lot

Trophies Awarded to SERVPRO team

Coach Lainey Aldridge passed out trophies after SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland’s final game of the season on Thursday, May 31, 2018.  We could not ask for a better group of kids to represent SERVPRO in the Cleveland Community.  Thank you to the Cleveland Park Commission for making this sport available for the youth of Cleveland to participate in.

Congratulations to the SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland's T-ball team on their final game on Thursday, May 31, 2018.  The kids did an outstanding job this year.  Many thanks to the coaches and parents who helped throughout this season.  Pictured is owner, Michael Miller, passing out pizza to the players after their final game.  SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland loves being involved in baseball season in the Cleveland community every year.

Memorial Day

The preferred name for the holiday gradually changed from "Decoration Day" to "Memorial Day," which was first used in 1882.  Memorial Day did not become the more common name until after World War II, and was not declared the official name by Federal law until 1967

Fire Started in Bathroom Trash Can

Local High School in SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland's territory recently had a fire that started in a bathroom.  The cause of loss was a trash can located in the guys bathroom.  SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland was called out to the high school to clean the walls, floors, baseboards, doors, etc. to return the bathroom back to its pre existing condition.

Reed Love, son of Lainey Aldridge, plays for the SERVPRO T-ball team in Cleveland, MS.  Reed is the grandson of owners, Michael and Lynette Miller.  Lainey Aldridge, daughter of Michael and Lynette Miller, coaches the SERVPRO team.  Their next game is Thursday, May 24, 2018, at 6:45pm.  Way to go SERVPRO team!

Hurricane Irma Hits Florida

Hurricane Irma hit Florida as a Category 4 storm the morning of Sept. 10, ripping off roofs, flooding coastal cities, and knocking out power to more than 6 million people. By Sept. 11, Irma weakened significantly to a tropical storm as it powered north toward Georgia and Alabama. At 11 p.m. later that day, it weakened further to a tropical depression, and by Sept. 13, it had dissipated over western Tennessee. SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland sent a crew out to Florida to help assist in the clean up of Hurricane Irma's path.

Continuing Education Class Held at SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland

On June 1, 2017, SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland held a Continuing Education class, Restorative Drying for Water Damage Course.  This course has been specifically designed to teach and explain the special procedures used by professionals in drying buildings and contents.  It involves four types of services including inspection of the loss, emergency services, monitoring services and restoration services.  This is a four hour course offered to agents and adjusters.  Agents and adjusters from the surrounding areas came to SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland to complete this course.  Agents and adjusters from South Group, Farm Bureau, Shelter, and Nationwide were some that attended.  Thank you to Certified CE Instructor, Brian Seale, for coming to teach the Restorative Drying for Water Damage Course.

15 Years and Counting

Michael Miller and Steve Johnston just got back from SERVPRO Convention in Las Vegas.  They attended several meetings and had a great learning experience.  While there, Michael and Steve received a plaque for 15 years in business.  They opened SERVPRO of Greenville/Cleveland on August 20, 2001.
